An AI trading coach with a journal attached.

The gap

Open any trading journal and you can tell who it was made for. Ticker symbols. Market hours. A tax export. They assume you took three trades this week and wrote a thesis for each one beforehand.

That isn't the trenches. In the trenches you take more trades before lunch than they expect in a month, half of them on a chain the journal has never heard of, and the reason you lost is buried somewhere between the entry you chased and the exit you fumbled. No spreadsheet is going to find that for you.

The trenches

How it started

The first version was a journal with some basic analytics. Nothing clever. It kept decisions and outcomes together so patterns were easier to review.

The product is shaped around a simple standard: every surface should help you review a real decision, not add another place to lose context.

The first version

Where the AI came in

What kept coming up was the tedium. Nobody wants to tag fifty entries by hand, or scroll a month of trades hunting for the pattern they already half suspect is there. So that is where the work went. Let the AI handle the parts everyone skips, and spend your attention on the part that actually changes how you trade.

M8 grew from that problem. It reads the trades and reflections you choose to connect, then gives you a focused place to ask what happened and what deserves another look.

M8

An AI trading coach with a journal attached, not the other way around.

What it is now

Connect a supported wallet or account and your trades sync into one record. Rate them, tag what you felt, note the rules you kept and the ones you broke. M8 helps you review the record with the surrounding market context.

That work is now available to traders who want the same record first approach.

The debrief

Why I built this

TrenchM8 is built around the gap between knowing a lesson and having a record that makes the lesson hard to ignore.

That's the whole reason this exists. Not to sell you signals. Not to promise you a win rate. To make the thing you did wrong impossible to miss the next time you go to do it again.

Built for traders who want to see their decisions clearly.
